How to Measure Your Dog

Measure your dog in a fully upright begging position (as shown in the diagram)

Keep the measuring tape close to the body

Do NOT add extra inches to any measurement

Use a rigid tape measure (carpenter's tape preferred)

Do NOT wrap a flexible tape around the body or measure curves
REQUIRED MEASUREMENTS:
A. Floor to Top of Head
(Measure from the floor to the very top of your dog’s head while sitting upright)
B. Floor to Top of Shoulders
(Measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder blade. Not up into neck)
C. Depth of Chest (Back to Front of Chest)
(Measure from the back to the front of the chest. straight across)
D. Shoulder to Shoulder Width
(Measure straight across the front from one shoulder bone to the other)
E. Knee to Knee Width
(Measure across the front from one front knee to the other with knees pointing forward,not spayed open)
